Fall Season 2005: Testimonies
"I wanted to thank you, and the Sports Quest trainers, for the effort put forth on behalf of our team. My daughter
plays for a U.12 team new to the Sports Quest organization.
The improvements they made this year were remarkable – but not only in their soccer skills but, more importantly, in their self esteem. Many of our girls have played together for a long time so their improved skills were very evident to us parents, but also they have such a better attitude toward each other and themselves, which began to show as well. We went from only winning a few games in the Spring season to being undefeated in the Fall; quite a moral booster for the girls and, of course, much more fun to watch for the parents! We all know that it was a combined effort of your trainers and our coaches that really brought the girls together and met the objectives of the parents – to be better players but to have fun and to grow as a team. Every girl on the team improved and I hope they all had as much fun playing the games as we did watching them.
Thank you for taking time to be with them this weekend; your kind words at the end of the game went a long way and no truer words are spoken; grace in defeat exemplifies strength in character..."
Soccer Parent - Team Training Program Fall 2005
"I just wanted to pass along to you some information about the Renegades. As you know, my son and three of
his friends, all
participated in the Tactics & Skills Training Program this fall. Their team won the Cy-Fair/Bear Creek tournament and this past weekend they played in the TYSA tournament. It has become very apparent to the other parents that these boys are improving at light speed.
My son
is a defender and he has become a key member of the team. We are trying to get our entire team to participate in the tactics and skills training for the spring session.
The ref from our tournament approached me after the second game…He told me that my son
will play for the Americans someday. He said he had been watching him and he could tell which kids would "make it" and that my son was definitely one of them. He could see him thinking on the field. I know this is directly related to the training he gets from y'all and I just wanted you to know what a difference it is making and how proud we are of him. Thanks! We will see you in the spring!"
