On January 29, 2005, Sports Quest partnered with Westside Soccer Club
to host the first ever SOCCER BLAST
in Bear Creek Park. Almost 100 young players (aged 7-10 years) participated in the many fun activities:
*Games of 3 versus 3 "Street Soccer"
*Group competitions with prizes...
-Speed Kick!
-Relay Races!
-Heading Contests!
-Juggling Contests!
-Soccer Tennis!
-Giant Soccer Ball Team Game!!
-Beat The Goalie Competition!
-Much More!!
The day ended with a prize drawing and...PIZZA! It was an awesome day for kids to meet and mix with fellow soccer players from around the area. No scores were kept...No coaching was allowed...and nobody seemed to mind!
